Please Note: This article is not aimed at finding out
which of the wedding services mentioned in the title is
more important as they are both important in their own
ways. It is aimed at trying to make people see that professional
wedding video services are just as important as professional
wedding photographic services.
A woman's wedding day is usually the most important day
of their lives. Everything must be perfect from the flowers
to the cake, to the venue and not forgetting the all important
dress. It takes months of careful planning and organisation,
thousands of pounds to make it all happen and then before
you know it the whole day has flashed passed your eyes
in what seems like a blur. A day that has seen so much
time and effort (not forgetting money) put into it and
brought so much happiness and laughter deserves to be
captured so that the memories can live on forever.
The wedding photographer has always been one of the most
important aspects of the wedding day and still is. The
photographer is usually one of the first wedding services
to be booked by the bride and groom. The photographer
is hired to capture moments from the day with professional,
crisp clear images that can be looked upon in years to
come.
The wedding videographer(s) aren't considered to be one
of the most important aspects of the wedding day. The
wedding videographer(s) is usually one of the last wedding
services to be booked by the bride and groom if even booked
at all. The videographer(s) is hired to capture moments
from the day with professional, crisp clear moving images
(with sound and music) that can be watched again in years
to come.
As you can see, a professional wedding videographer(s)
provide a similar service to the professional photographer
in the sense that they are capturing visual images depicting
magic moments from the special occasion. If this is the
case and with the added bonus that wedding videographers
can offer moving images accompanied with sound and music
to add to the whole atmosphere of the day, then why are
wedding videographers seemed to be less of a necessity
or less important than wedding photographers? Is it because
of the bad reputation that wedding videos used to have
and is there still a stigma surrounding them?
In my opinion, I believe that a professional wedding
video produced by professional wedding videographers IS
one of the most important aspects of the wedding day and
is, at the very least, as important as the wedding photographer.
All that planning, organisation, anticipation, nerves,
excitement, tears, laughter, happiness all caught on film
to be enjoyed again and again.priceless!
Don't get me wrong though, a professional photographer
is definitely an important aspect of the wedding day and
shouldn't be disregarded as being less important than
a professional wedding videographer(s) and vice versa.
These two services are two of the most important services
during your day as they give a visual representation of
your special occasion and provide an unforgettable memory
of what should be one of the best days of your lives.
I will finish this article with the following saying which
I believe proves that wedding videography should be considered
as being as important as wedding photography:
A picture is worth a thousand words, so I ask you one
question: how many words is a moving image worth?
